There are so many ways to grab the audience’s attention.  Could be visual or written somehow the writer wants to grab the audience’s attention.  Anhala Woodbine 1101 English  9/20/2020 Is Cheerleading An Actual Sport?  When you think of cheerleading, do you ever think of it as a sport?   I know I do, most people don't think of it as a sport, but it plays so many roles. When cheerleading first started, it was all men in the 1800s. They didn't allow women until 1923. At first, cheerleading was not a sport just a crowd cheering on a football team. Over time it started to grow larger, they started to teach students more complicated routines, stunts, and jumps. This event made All-Star a sport. They begin to focus more on competition and athletic training. Cheerleaders do so much we barely notice, they carry their teammates as they do flips, or even throw them up in the air. As you see other sports at practice everyday cheerleaders are there as well practicing on they stunt, jumps, flips, and dances. Anahla  woodbine  1011 English 9/15/2020 When you think of Thomas Edison you think of I'm inventing the lightbulb. The real question is did he really invent the light bulb? I think Thomas Edison didn't invent the light bulb. The idea of a light bulb has been mentioned long before Thomas Edison was born. Alessandro Volta made the first practical method of generating electricity. After he did that he showed his Invention to Humphry Davy. he was an English chemist and inventor, he was the first person in the world to light the electric lamp by connecting voltaic piles to charcoal electrodes. Over time his invention started to improve. His invention wasn't all that good. The light will burn out quickly or it may have to be Bright. Also, we are thinking Who was the first person to make a lightbulb. The whole idea behind his invention inspired other people to try to build the same thing and improve in his work. Anahla Woodbine 1101 English  9/4/2020 Do you feel your blog meets all the rubric criteria? If not, then what areas need work? I feel as sometimes my blogs can meet the rubric criteria but I tend to get off topic very easily. Which aspects of writing assignments on a blog confuse or create stress for you? The assignment on the blog that was most confusing was the  Race and Politics the only reason why because its a topic I had to learn on my own. Are you putting your best efforts into assignments and blog writing? I am putting my best effort into my assignment and blogs. Or,  do you procrastinate and then have trouble completing your work? I do not have a hard time completing my work. Do you review and revise your blog posts for grammar, mechanics, and readability? yes, I do have to review my blog for grammar.
